Family Service and Mental Health Center of Cicero is looking to grow our clinical team. We have full and part time positions available for Licensed and non-licensed therapists. The agency provides affordable, high quality mental health care to a predominantly low income, Latinx community of about 80,000.

Therapist (Bilingual)

Full time therapist position providing outpatient mental health services to adults, children and families in community mental health center including the following specific responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapeutic treatment for clients with a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Consult with and work cooperatively with agency staff and other health care/ social service providers to respond to client's needs.
  • Attend and participate in supervisory and team meetings.
  • Keep client records up to date and in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in prevention through education activities in the community doing presentations as well as getting involved with outreach efforts.

The agency serves a large Latinx population, and these positions require fluency in English and Spanish. Master’s degree in social work or counseling required. Ideal candidate will have several years of broad clinical experience working with adults, children, and families in an outpatient setting. Evening hours required and hybrid positions available with minimum of three in person days required.
